A car warranty is an insurance product placed on a car to protect the owner against the cost of unexpected mechanical failure and other expensive repair bills. Sometimes referred to as mechanical breakdown insurance.

When buying a car, the cost of repairs may be the last thing on your mind, that is where having a good warranty comes in very handy.

With the cost of running a car these days seemingly being higher than ever, extra repair costs can prove frustrating, therefore, having a good warranty, covering you for a prolonged period of time, is a fantastic idea.

Pierremonts include comprehensive and nationally recognised RAC warranties and roadside assistance cover with all of our used cars which means that in the unlikely event of you having a problem with the car, it can be repaired by any VAT registered garage in the country saving you time and inconvenience. We do of course have our own fully equipped workshops with the latest diagnostic equipment and mot facilities, allowing us to service, maintain and repair all makes of cars.

As a valued customer, we also offer discounts on both your routine servicing and mot costs throughout the life of your car saving you money on main-dealer prices and making Pierremonts a one-stop-shop for all your motoring needs.

For vehicles up to 9 years old, we are able to offer RAC's top-of-the-range Platinum warranty that covers you for the failure of virtually all your electrical and mechanical components, parts and labour up to the standard limit of £500 per claim and for older vehicles, RAC's Gold and silver warranties are also available.

We also offer upgrades to our standard warranties up to a period of up to 2 years and a claim limit up to the value of the vehicle.  These upgrades are exclusively offered to our buyers at a preferential rate and whilst you own the car, we offer these same rates should you wish to renew your cover.
